Uniforms in Public Schools are pointless.
School uniforms have become common popular in public school all over the world. Students and parents disagree with the policy for school uniforms and think they are unimportant. School uniforms are useless because their expensive, does not stop bullying, and restrict student’s individuality.
Most schools have their logos for identification on all their uniforms and wearable items also schools have certain suppliers who make and sell their products. The suppliers then take advantage by selling these items at a higher price. Since parents are limited to where they can buy their child uniforms they are forced to pay the deranged prices of the distributors. After a school year students uniform will eventually become dingy and after every year parents are required to buy more uniforms. Families that have more than one child will face a burden when paying for uniforms so simply not enforcing them makes it easier financial for most families.
Imposing uniforms does not reduce bullying, student who want to bully their peers will find other things besides clothing. Students can be bullied by how they look, smell, and even if they ride the school bus. Being bullied is just as likely when in uniform as when you aren’t in uniform. Uniform doesn’t make every student the same, it just makes every student look the same. That’s the difference that most schools…
